In the two days of the Gathering of Nations the 150 participants, delegates and observers from all over Australia, were presented with research and information in respect to the key issues facing First Nations Peoples today and the progress to date in the assertion of First Nations sovereignty at a national level. We very clearly articulated the internationally accepted process for assertion of sovereignty by Nations and Peoples subjugated by a foreign power and expanded on the need for decolonisation.

Australia's facade of creating the illusion of compensation for redressing past imperial colonial acts through the Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Act 2008 as amended, in which redress for dispossession was claimed, has at last been exposed. The UN Human Rights Committee in Geneva and 110 Member States have recently united in their condemnation of Australia’s Human Rights performance in respect of its treatment of refugees but, more importantly, the focused criticism of Australia's treatment of our Peoples across this country.

A Unilateral Declaration of Independence (UDI) is a formal process leading to the establishment of a fully recognized state, which declares itself an independent and sovereign pre-existing state without a formal agreement with the occupying nation state, because the two have never been together. "Many people are wanting to understand UDIs," said Ghillar Anderson, "This topic will be discussed at the upcoming Gathering of Nations on 21 -22 November 2015 in Old Parliament House, Canberra. There will be opportunities for further discussion during the surrounding days at the Aboriginal Embassy.

The topics discussed at the Annual Sovereign Union 2015 Gathering at Old Parliament House in Canberra on the 21st and 22nd November will include:- Unilateral Declarations of Independence (UDIs); Strategies and methodologies for self governance; Problem Identification and Solutions; Identifying relevant UN resolutions and covenants; Defining sovereignty and understanding Treaties between Nations; Combating the deliberate destruction of our cultural heritage; Decolonisation; Citizenships; Sharing the information - Media and education strategies; The Con in Constitutional Recognition. 

Tjilpi (senior Lawmen), Wati (Lawmen) and Pompa (Law Women) have now come to understand how the authority of the Tjukurpa Law is what gives the sovereign Peoples, the Anangu, dominion, in the absolute sense, over their Lands and Territories. They have now decided to develop their own strategies for their Tjukurpa Law to be the effective Law in their County, as it was before the whiteman came. If the white people want their law to have any effect then, from now on, that will have to be subject to negotiation with the decision-makers in the Pitjantjatjara Yankunytjatjara Law and Culture Pty Ltd company.

If we truly want to establish a process of asserting our sovereignty then we must cast aside personalities and differences. This is not about gaining personal notoriety or fame because not one person has all the answers, but many minds can locate the true pathway. For of all we need to recognise flaws in our own personal makeup. Do we truly understand what colonised minds look like? We must first look at ourselves as oppressed people because oppressed people must understand that they are themselves their own examples of oppression and unfortunately when we go through the education and enculturation processes of the colonial States, we miss so much of our own ancient teachings and in doing so lose our self-awareness of who we truly are.

They are ramping up the 'R' campaign amongst our people at the grassroots. We need to tell the Australian public that we don't accept inequality; we don't want the government to make laws for us; the only thing we want is our sovereignty recognised, our Law and culture recognised; and by having each Nation map their own country and then negotiating their own Treaty packages will we be able to gain a type of satisfaction in this war of attrition against the colonialists. It is so wrong for non-Aboriginal people to be making choices and setting time frames for our Peoples.

This Recognise campaign is about securing the head of power to govern over Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Peoples. It is not about securing our rights or freeing us from racial discrimination. Ghillar Anderson responds to mainstream media referring to PM Tony Abbott's suggestion he would deal with any right wing opposition to First Natiions peoples in the Constitution 'with love' – a Mandella type moment. Instead Anderson calls PM Tony Abbott's Summit on Constitutional recognition with 40 Indigenous 'leaders' a Pinochet or Hitler type moment for Aboriginal Peoples.

March Across the Sydney Harbour Bridge on the 6th March 2015 as a protest against Contitutional Reform and the 'Expert Panel' who make decisions with no consent. We have one common objective – this Country is ours, always was and always will be. It is time to pay up and we are coming to collect. We will not be wiped out by a deceitful 'Recognise' referendum. We are now rebuilding our pre-existing nationhood. They know it and they fear it. This is what they don't tell the public.

An exclusive 'Recognition' meeting is taking place on Monday 6th July at Kirribilli House. What Abbott and Shorten are doing with this conference is making a mockery of the diplomatic processes they espouse in Australia. It is not possible to conduct a successful plebiscite if the whole process is camouflaged and hidden from the public. Then to restrict the participation in something of this magnitude is criminal. We expect this in countries where people are governed by dictators, but then are Australians really comfortable with the Abbott government's governance?
