Gathering of Nations 2014 - Canberra

Annual Sovereign Union Meeting
Canberra on Saturday and Sunday 1 - 2 November 2014

Old Parliament House & Aboriginal Embassy
We will be camping at the Aboriginal Embassy

Representatives of Nations
Sovereign Union extends an invitation to all First Nations and Peoples in Australia to meet together in Canberra on Saturday and Sunday 1 - 2 November 2014. The invitation is open to three delegates from each Sovereign Nation. (Women and Youth are encouraged to be included where possible)

Non-Aboriginal observers
All non-Aboriginal people are welcome to attend as observers at the old House of Representatives chamber, but there is only seating for around 200 people. There is some observers seating above the chamber in the old press gallery and the meeting will be screened in the lobby monitors, which has some seating.

Let us know if you are coming
Please list your names via the Attendance Form (preferred), facebook, the contact form on this website, or by sending an email to Ghillar with your name, Nation, Number of people from your nation that you expect to be present.

Self-Funded Movement
Each of the Sovereign Nations who seek to attend must realise that we have NO money to assist with fares and/or accommodation. The Sovereignty movement is a self-funded movement and each Sovereign Nation State must take care of their own costs. We accept NO money from Government. Our continuing Sovereignty is ours to assert, and we must show our determination to be free and Independent.

If any Nation has its own flag please bring it with you so that we can hang it on Friday afternoon ahead of time. The House of Reps chamber is a heritage-listed place and the curators will arrange for the flags to be displayed.
