As the appointed Ambassador of the original Aboriginal Embassy, the Convenor of the Sovereign Union and Head of State, Euahlayi Peoples Republic, I herewith bring to your attention the humanitarian crisis that has now developed in the state of Western Australia. This crisis is a consequence of the Western Australian government's policy of shutting down up to 150 Aboriginal homelands and communities, which they have wrongly stated to be financially 'unsustainable' and economically unviable. We regard these actions as an an act of war and aggression against the various tribal Nations in Western Australia.

It is very clear that the members of the Australian government are themselves desperate to hold onto power in order to maintain their dominance over First Nations people, while at the same time knowing that their time is limited, because 'Our Peoples' do realise that what was done during the colonial period and up to the modern day was done by deceit and by fraud. Their colonial courts said that we are, and were, British subjects and now Australian subjects ... if so, why are denied equal rights.

After 227 years of military occupation by the British, we have reached a highly significant position in our history. The invaders never thought the day would come when Aboriginal Nations and Peoples would be such a powerful force in the Australian politics. We must understand that, as affirmed by the High Court Mabo (No. 2) judgment, our ancient cultures and Laws have survived British sovereignty and remain the Law of the Land, as they have never been ceded. We are now challenging more than ever the power and authority of the colonial governments.

"The time has come where we must draw the line in the sand to use Arabunna Elder, Kevin Buzzacott 's statement: 'The Black Line is drawn', in respect to the issue of constitutional reform and recognition. The intent of genocide in its rawest form. We will be finished as a distinct race of people, approved of by the selected few chosen First Nations people. This is wrong and absolutely unjust!. If we are going to be wiped out through assimilation, then we must stand and fight by whatever means possible.

We must avoid attacking each other. This fits right into the concepts and expectations that mainstream have with regard to Aboriginal Peoples. There are other ways to solving problems, other than calling upon the NSW Police.
We must always maintain the knowledge of who our true enemy is and it is certainly not a group of people who seek to take back ownership of that which we fought for and continue to fight for right through to this day.

Australian governments continually and blatantly attack the most vulnerable in our communities and argue that they are concerned for our welfare and the widening 'Gap' in terms of the disparity in our education, etc., while calling us Australian citizens.
But we know we are not Australians citizens under the Australian Constitution and never have been and this is why governments can commit the gross violations of human rights against us and think they can get away with it.

Having concluded his analysis of the Freedom Summit, Ghillar Michael Anderson said it was clear that a great majority of the people who attended were determined to assert their sovereignty. He acknowledged the polarity between the people of different backgrounds, something that has never been so apparent before, and saw the coming together of these groups with an understanding that each can support the other. He also reminds us that 'The Gap' is 'widening' at an alarming rate and there are great challenges for the delegates, who will need to prioritise the needs for the short, medium and long term, and lead.

First Nations and Peoples across Australia assembled in Alice Spings for a Freedom Summit.

After the two day summit, the Nations' delegates declared sovereign power and authority within the Territories of the United Tribes of the First Nations Lands. In a collective capacity, they declared that they will not permit any legislative authority separate from themselves to exist on their Lands.

The closure of more than half of WA's 274 remote communities is another example of how the government and Big Mining work hand in hand to steal Aboriginal land without compensation. There is a thinly veiled agenda to remove Aboriginal people from their homes so the mining industry can have easy access to land ... We are now reaching a climax in our struggle for rights and freedoms and time to take a deep breath, exhale slowly and look around at our situation with clarity.

Ghillar Michael Anderson, Convenor of the Sovereign Union and Head of State of Euahlayi Peoples Republic said from Canberra that the second Gathering of Nations held in Canberra this weekend was successful, and despite disruptions by other parties in opposition to the Sovereign Union, the key matters were successfully concluded.
A key issue that arose was the creation of templates to serve as models for Nations around the country, who seek to make their Declarations of Independence.
