There’s always been an economy in the lands now known as Australia. Well maybe not always, but for at least 60,000 years.

In 1788, when the British first started dispossessing the Rightful Owners of the soil, the Crown imposed a different legal and economic system onto these lands.
By settlering as if onto a Terra Nullius, the imposed economic order displaced and discounted the Traditional Economy, impoverishing the Traditional Owners. [node:read-more:link]

A crime against our humanity is the way the Native Title process has been manipulated to further dispossess First Nations. Parliamentary legislation and 'Native Title specialist lawyers' are in lockstep with the colonial power to rob Aboriginal people of their inherent rights and responsibilities to uphold the oldest continuing living culture on the planet. Here on this island continent, now known as Australia, those wielding colonial power continue to promote Native Title in positive terms, well aided by the mainstream media, but the reality is a treacherous story of theft by trickery. This gathering will include the Annual Memorial March for all of our people who fell in battle or were mercilessly slaughtered in the Massacres, Frontier Wars and conflicts that were ongoing for well over 150 years after the arrival of the First Fleet. [node:read-more:link]

Grassroots Aboriginal people from New South Wales have rejected recognition in the Australian Constitution in favour of Aboriginal Sovereignty, the need for Treaties and for government to enter discussions with First Nations. According to Ghillar, Michael Anderson, the Australian Government is in a quandary over the legality of its sovereignty over Australia. Aboriginal people, on the other hand, are finding it very difficult 'to get out from under' the weight of government oppression which he likened to a German 'Reich' or regime. [node:read-more:link]

The Sovereign Union is providing information and details of rights that we have as sovereign Nations and Peoples, whose Law and culture have never been usurped and this is also held in the law of the colonisers after the High Court Mabo.(No. 2) decision. The recent Sovereign Union Proclamation: First Nations' Sovereignty dated 26 January 2017 is a clear statement of the foundation of our inherent rights in law. All Nations and Peoples are potentially self-determining and independent. Each Nation fights their own fight their way for their purposes. [node:read-more:link]

"1, 2, 3, Sovereignty, that's how easy it can be!" was the key chant echoing in the forecourt of Parliament House, Canberra, after the march from the Aboriginal Embassy broke through police lines. The impact of 26 January 2017 was quite significant in many respects, but the most notable was the number of youth who have now stepped up to show that they are prepared to take leadership under the guidance of Elders who have led the struggle to this day.

In a letter forwarded to the Governor-general Ghillar, Michael Anderson, urged the Governor-general to be cognisant of Australia's illegal status as a Nation State.
Ghillar stated: "The fraud that us being perpetrated against First Nations Peoples continues unabated and it is now time for all the colonial authorities to understand and accept their limitations. They must now stop continually imposing their illegitimate notions upon us. These impositions continue to try and steal our patrimony which we have, and never will give up ... [node:read-more:link]

• The Proclamation will focus on usurpation as genocide, which continues to this very day, only this time they call it Native Title and Recognise.
• The Declaration will declare the falsehood of the British claim of ownership over this continent.
