John Pilger: How the Murdoch press keeps Australia’s dirty secret

‘Nigger Hunt’ by Murdoch Media

Murdoch Media are targeting Aboriginal woman Tarneen Onus Williams in a modern day 'Nigger Hunt' because the Melbourne Rally she was involved in, and all of the other Rallies, are becoming a major threat to the continuation of the neo-colonial celebration on 26th January.

The targeting of Tarneen is a example of what John Pilger was talking about in this 2011 article - about how this mega media outlet has been targeting Aboriginal people. [node:read-more:link]

Time to fully import law against genocide - Stolen Children crisis

The Family Matters Report 2017

Need to delete sections 268.121 – 268.122 of the law against genocide in International Criminal Court Consequential Amendments Act 2002. The release on 29 November of The Family Matters Report 2017 details the 'escalating national crisis’ of the rate of removal of First Nations children from families. From our perspective the core issue is being left out of the debate. Removal of children from the group is one of the five definitions of genocide. The alarming rate of the removal of First Nations children 'from the group’ is only possible because the Commonwealth of Australia has not imported the full force of the 1948 Convention on the Prevention and Punishment of the Crime of Genocide. etc ... The Brutal Truth - What happened in the gulf country NT

When you know who owned the stations on which Aboriginals were killed and the names of the politicians who knowingly allowed it all to happen, you also know the Who's Who of colonial Australia.

It is horrific to read, in fine detail, what was done to hundreds of innocent men, women and children. That is why some people still want this history to remain hidden.

Indigenous Estate like a Fata Morgana (mirage)

The Australian Government presents to its own citizens and to the United Nations, that the land purchased by the ILC (Indigenous Land Corporation) would belong to the “Indigenous Estate”, what implied that this land bought by taxpayers’ money is actually owned by Aboriginal People, when in fact the government continues to own the land. “The Indigenous Land Corporation assists Indigenous Australians to acquire land and to manage Aboriginal held land so as to provide economic, environmental, social or cultural benefits.” states the official website of the Australian Government. First Nations Treaty(ies), Sovereignty and an Australian Republic

Former PM Paul Keating

Former PM Paul Keating's foray back into Aboriginal politics where he talks up the need for a Treaty with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islanders and describes it as the 'unfinished business of the nation' is pleasing to the ears of some of us older fighters who sees the Recognition campaign as trap. It is interesting that Prof Patrick Dodson clearly has lost his way in the political melee and finds himself in a quagmire of confusion and frustrations, when he 'argued that constitutional recognition should come first' (before a Treaty). Sovereign Union Letter to United Nations - SOS Forced closure of Aboriginal homeland communities in WA

I write this letter as a matter of urgency. Despite a national day of protest across the whole of the Australian continent on 19 March 2015 against the forced closures of Aboriginal homeland communities, the state governments have arrogantly ignored our protests and continue unabated. The mainstream media media in Australia are blacking out any attention as if the forced closures are not happening. This is a cry for help as our communities do not have the resources to stave off the Australian assault on Aboriginal Peoples and their lands. [node:read-more:link]
